| DAY 1: HOME CITY - MEXICO CITY
Meet & Greet upon arrival to Mexico City's International Airport and transfer to Hotel Casa Blanca or similar. Rest of the day free to relax, shop and explore on your own. .
DAY 2: MEXICO CITY - PATZCUARO
Morning departure for beautiful MORELIA, founded in 1541. City Tour including the Zocalo, also called the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, and its downtown streets lined by marvelous colonial style buildings. Then continue to PATZCUARO, a quaint city with the ambience of an indian village and the regal splendor of colonial Spanish architecture. Overnight at Hotel Posada Don Vasco or similar.
DAY 3: PATZCUARO - GUADALAJARA
Brief 20 minute boat trip to the island of Janitzio offering glimpses of nearby villages. Visit its many shops. Then continue to GUALADARAJA, Mexico's second largest city, often referred to as the country's most "Mexican City ". Overnight at Hotel Holiday Inn Centro Historico or similar.
DAY 4: GUALADAJARA
City tour of this vibrant city founded in 1532 by a group of 63 spanish families. Visit the University, the Plaza de la Liberacion, Gualadajara's famed twin tower Cathedral and the historic Degollado Theater.
DAY 5: GUALADAJARA - GUANAJUATO
On route to the charming city of GUANAJUATO, visit TLAQUEPAQUE, a suburb of Guadalajara famous for its artisans and crafts. Stroll the central plaza pausing at the many shops for intricate handicraft and beautiful ceramics. Continue to GUANAJUATO, wealthy colonial city settled by Spanish gold and silver miners. Overnight at Hotel Mision Guanajuato Park Plaza or similar.
DAY 6: GUANAJUATO - SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
City Tour of this exquisite colonial gem founded in 1522, and designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Subterranean passageways server as the town's streets, and houses are crammed onto the steep ravine where once flowed the Guanajuato River. Wander its narrow cobblestone streets to admire its many beautifully preserved colonial buildings. Then continue to SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, charming colonial city declared a national monument in 1926. Overnight at Hotel Mision De Los Angeles or similar.
DAY 7: SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE - QUERETARO - MEXICO CITY
City Tour of this picturesque mountain town, home of painters, sculptors, writers, poets, and other artists. Then continue to QUERETARO, founded in 1531. Brief tour of this city rich in colonial history and continue to MEXICO CITY and the Hotel Casa Blanca or similar.
DAY 8: MEXICO CITY - PUEBLA - MEXICO CITY
Depart for PUEBLA and weather permitting fantastic views of Popocatepetl amd Iztacihuatz Volcanoes overlooking the valley where PUEBLA, the "City of Angels" lies. Stroll its plazas, its main sqaure, Baroque Palaces, the Cathedral, the magnificent Chapel of the Rosary with its impressive golden altar. Visit the handicraft market "El Parian" and the onyx factories. Continue to CHOLULA, a small city with 366 Churches and the biggest pyramid on earth.
Day 9: MEXICO CITY - TAXCO - MEXICO CITY
Morning departure for CUERNAVACA, the "City of Eternal Spring" awash in colorful bougainvillea. Then continue over Sierra Madre mountain range until arriving to picturesque colonial silver mining city of TAXCO. Visit famous Church Santa Prisca, stroll the main plaza and admire the colorful red tiled rooftops.
Day 10: MEXICO CITY
City Tour of this huge metropolis, both colonial and modern in appeal. Visit the enormous Zocalo, its main square, the National Palace to admire magnificent frescoes of artist Diego Rivera depicting centuries of Mexican history, the ruins of the main temple of the Aztecs, the impressive Cathedral, refreshing oasis Chapultepec Park, and upscale residential areas.
Day 11: MEXICO CITY - HOME CITY
At scheduled hour, transfer to the Airport for flight home or next destination.
